We want to show everyone the love that Christ showed us by reaching, loving, serving, and building relationships with others. Expand your world view and allow God to use your gifts and talents to serve him. You’ll never be the same! Available mission trips are listed below:
February 9, 2019 - Experience StreetLightUSA, Phoenix
StreetLightUSA is the largest residential center providing holistic care to girls ages 11-17 who have been victimized by child sex trafficking or sexual trauma. They are helping girls find a new way forward so they can become independent, confident, and successful young women.
We will travel to Phoenix to meet with StreetLight’s director, who will educate us on the epidemic of sex trafficking that is flourishing in our state and local community. The purpose of this trip is to raise awareness of the realities of child sex trafficking, and to support StreetLight as it seeks to restore the lives of those who have been victimized. We may have an opportunity for interaction with the girls, and will also do some type of service project at StreetLight’s facility. Cost of this day trip is $10 per person; maximum $25/family. Registration closes Jan. 28, 2019.
February 23, 2019 - Serving those living on the streets of Winslow
For dozens of men and women in Winslow, living on the streets is their reality. Homeless mainly because they’re not welcome at their homes due to their addictions, they face life on the streets with little hope. Join others from CCoF on Saturday, February 23 as we bring love, hope, and encouragement to those living on the streets of Winslow.
The goal of this 1-day trip is to obey Christ’s command to love one another. We’ll demonstrate this by showering blessings on those struggling to break patterns and addictions. Individuals who have a heart for serving the less fortunate are needed to help us prepare and serve a hearty meal and make our guests feel honored and welcomed through conversation and fellowship. If you can cook, lead singing, play guitar, share your testimony or give a brief devotion, cut hair, or give manicures or pedicures, we need you! There is no cost for this trip. Registration closes Feb 15, 2019.
March 16-20, 2019 - Puerto Peñasco, Mexico with Amor Ministries
Our goal for this trip is to transform the lives of at least 8 families forever, by building each of them a new home! Can you think of any better way to spend five days! This is a multi-generational trip for anyone age seven and older. It’s especially promoted for Middle School and High School students, young adults, families, and individuals. No construction experience or Spanish is required. We’ll be camping at Amor’s secure campsite, in primitive conditions similar to those of the families we will be serving. Our food will be prepared by the wives of Mexican pastors (yum!).
An information meeting for those who haven’t been on one of these trips is scheduled for Sunday, December 16, 3pm in The Junction. Mandatory meetings for all participants are scheduled for February 10 and March 10, each from 3:00-5:00 PM in The Junction.
A passport or passport card is required for those 19 and older. Those 18 and younger can utilize a birth certificate for re-entry to the U.S. as long as they’re traveling with our team.
Prices are $375/adult and $100/child. Registration closes January 25.
April 12-14, 2019 - UCYC Mission Trip
We hope you’ll join us in Prescott, as we travel to the United Christian Youth Camp (UCYC) and help get it ready for the thousands of young campers who will be staying there and encountering Christ this summer! This trip is a great way for individuals, families, even Life Groups to have a weekend of fun and great fellowship while providing a much-needed service to UCYC. Projects will include repairs, landscaping, clean-up, painting, and construction. Skilled or not, there are plenty of opportunities to help! And, once the work is done, we get to experience some of UCYC’s awesome recreational activities.
Note: Registration closes April 1, 2019
November 2019 - CCoF trip to Israel
You’re invited to take part in a spiritual journey to Israel, led by Pastor Chris and his wife Kristi. This is a fully escorted 10-day tour, with Christian guides and Christian bus drivers. You will walk where Jesus walked, and visit many towns and sites that have historical and Biblical significance, such as Nazareth, the Sea of Galilee, Capernaum, the Jordan River, the Dead Sea, Jerusalem, Mount of Olives, the Garden Tomb, and the Wailing Wall. Although this trip emphasizes the spiritual significance of Israel, your guides will also have expertise in modern-day topics such as military, politics, education, and other cultural aspects, so that you will receive well-rounded information about both the past and the present.
Cost for the trip is approximately $3,695 all inclusive, and a 3-day extension to Petra is also available for an additional fee. Registration closes April 15 or when we reach our capacity, so don’t delay!
