Provided by Financial Planning Ministry
Do you have an Estate Plan? If you have over $75,000 in gross assets you probably need one. An Estate Plan allows you to:
• Determine how your assets will be distributed at your death.
• Name your children’s guardians.
• Name the Conservator of your person
Without these documents probate court will be free to determine these issues for you.
Financial Planning Ministries (FPM) provides estate planning services, including the creation of wills and trusts. Serving the Christian Church community for over 20 years, FPM provides stewardship and estate planning seminars and assists individuals in the creation of their personal Estate Plan-FREE. FPM charges nothing for their services. CCoF has hosted a number of seminars for our people over the last few years and 100’s of families have successfully completed these documents using the services of Financial Planning Ministry. This is a can’t-miss opportunity.
What can I expect?
Twice a year we host a 2-hour seminar where a representative from FPM discusses the legal issues of estate planning. At this time you learn the advantages of have an Estate Plan. A couple weeks after this presentation you return for a one-on-one meeting with a FPM representative. In this meeting you will go over the specific needs for your Estate Plan and have any questions answered. A few weeks after this appointment you will receive your completed Estate Plan documents in the mail. There is no charge for any part of this service.
This years’ dates are:
Saturday, March 9, 1:00-3:30 PM
Sunday, September 22, 12:30-2:30 PM.
What if I need to make changes to my Estate Plan in the future?
Another advantage of FPM is that changes in the future are also done free of charge. You simply contact the ministry and tell them what changes need to be made. They will prepare the documents and send them to you.
How is this Service Free of Charge?
Here at CCoF we believe that intentionally planning what will happen to our assets at death is an important part of a complete stewardship plan. To this end we have partnered with FPM and many other Christian churches to provide this service. In the creation of your documents you will have the opportunity to leave a portion of your estate to CCoF or any other ministry you choose. This is optional though we do hope you will prayerfully consider leaving something to God’s work upon your death.
